This notice describes how HandyTrail uses information when you visit the website or send us a message. Last updated October 9, 2026.
Visiting the website
HandyTrail uses Hostinger and WordPress to provide the website. Hosting and website systems may process information such as IP addresses, browser details and request logs to deliver pages, maintain security and diagnose problems. WordPress uses cookies for administrator login. We have not installed a separate audience analytics service.
Google advertising and cookies
We have installed Google AdSense code using our publisher account. Installation does not mean that Google has approved the site or that advertisements are currently being displayed. Google and other third-party advertising vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers to provide, measure and protect advertising services.
Google’s advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this website and other websites. Other advertising vendors may also place or read cookies in your browser when ads are served. Advertising and personalization depend on the services enabled, applicable regional requirements and the consent choices available to you.
How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services explains Google’s data practices. You can manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center. You can also find information about opting out of participating third-party vendors’ personalized advertising at YourAdChoices. These choices do not necessarily stop all advertising.
Consent choices and browser controls
Where required, advertising cookies and personalized advertising must be handled with the applicable disclosures and consent mechanism. Where a consent message is provided, use that message to make or change your choices. Reading this policy is not consent to personalized advertising. This policy does not claim that a consent message is already configured or that it replaces regional requirements.
Your browser settings may let you view, block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies may affect website or advertising features. Please refer to your browser’s instructions for those controls. Google-provided controls govern Google’s services under Google’s own policies.
Contact messages
The contact form collects your name, email and message so the site administrator can receive and handle your inquiry. Please do not send sensitive personal information or identifiable laboratory reports. WordPress and the hosting mail service process the message for delivery. To limit repeated submissions, the form temporarily stores a salted hash based on the request IP for two minutes; that form feature is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
You can use the contact page to request correction or deletion of information you provided. Some security or legal records may need to be retained. Do not assume that a website message is a private consultation about your household water.
Tools, fonts and external resources
The hardness converter runs locally in your browser; we do not collect its input through the tool. The theme loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to request those resources. Reference links lead to external websites with their own privacy practices.
Changes and questions
We update this notice when the site’s services change. Use the contact form for privacy questions. This notice describes our current website and does not claim legal certification, regulatory approval or Google approval.
