The bigger picture

A thoughtful starting point.

There is no universal equipment price that describes every home. Water chemistry, treatment scope, plumbing, local installation requirements, and ongoing maintenance can change a proposal. We do not publish a guessed price as a verified quote.

Request an itemized proposal

  • Equipment: exact models, verified claims, and the purpose of each stage.
  • Installation: plumbing changes, required connections, space, labor, and any locally applicable approvals.
  • Consumables: cartridges, media, or regenerant required by the manufacturer.
  • Service: maintenance responsibilities and any optional service agreement.
  • Verification: relevant testing before and after installation.

Make the comparison fair

Provide the same test results and household requirements to each supplier. Ask which assumptions were used and what is excluded. A cheaper headline price may cover a different scope; a more expensive proposal is not automatically better.

Record the date, provider, equipment, included work, excluded work, and recurring costs. Keep one-time spending separate from expected annual expenses, and label estimates as estimates.

Define the need first

Use our testing guides and certification checklist before budgeting. A useful budget starts with a defined treatment job, not a price range copied from another household.
